Halloween!

Well, this was the first year that James was REALLY into Halloween. On the very first day of October we received a costume catalog in the mail and went through every single page looking for the perfect costume. He said “no” to everything EXCEPT for a bright green turtle costume. Of course, the catalog already had it on backorder so the quest for the perfect green turtle costume (with a shell, of course) began. We went to five Halloween stores but didn’t have any luck. Most of the cute turtle costumes didn’t fit my oversized toddler since most of the kids his weight and height wanted to be super-heroes. I finally went online and found the perfect costume that would actually fit! We received it in the mail 1 week later and he was quote, “so excited, turtle is here”. James wore his turtle costume at least once a day for the whole month of October. He loved every bit of T&T on Halloween and avoiding any of the houses that looked “tooo scary”. BTW, the picture with Daddy on James' back is suppose to look like Daddy giving James a ride on his turtle shell. And of course, he then had to ride Daddy's back :)

oh yes, he has his own jeep now

Well, leave it up to daddy to get his boy a motor jeep. I'm not sure who was more excited, daddy or james? James drove down the street to show his friends, matthew
(4yr) and makayla (3yr) and they all took turns driving it around the street.

New Jersey

Peter had a business trip in Princeton and I thought, why not join him and go to New Jersey to visit the family?! We had a great time and James enjoyed every day playing with his best bud/cousin, Lukie Pops! They were the cutest together. Holding hands, laughing, playing, and just loving each other to death! Here are a few pictures of our trip.

My boss and his wife are investors/co-owners in the Boston Celtics and they brough back James a cute little outfit for his birthday. Oh, and they thought he could use a sun hat so they bought that too. I know, it doesn't really match but I had to take a picture of all their gifts and send it to them. Here is a picture of my "big baby" that was taken by my mom in June.

Here is a recent picture of James. And guess who took it? Uncle Michael! Our big boy will be turning 2 in a couple of months. He loves Caillou, Wonder Pets, playing hoops, soccer and most importantly he still loves.....FROG!

Yoda!

Mom and Dad came from New Jersey for trick-a-treatin and James loved every minute of it. We had a full day which included visiting Madrina (god-mamma Jeannette) in Willow Glen so that Uncle Mike could do a halloween photo shoot. In the evening we went to Tait Street in Los Gatos for some T&T. The street was closed for the evening and there were tons of people dressed up! It was a good time.
