Gobble Gobble!!!

Once again, the Zelaya’s enjoyed another big Thanksgiving feast. There was a new chair at the table this year…and James was very excited about tasting some mashed potatoes. Yum! Yum!
Thanks Uncle Michael for taking all the pictures!!

Trick or Treat!

We had a handful of trick-or-treaters Friday night, but the best costume & cuteness award goes to Mr. James! Here are some pics from another photo shoot with Uncle Michael. I really think James likes posing for the camera…and I also believe he truly enjoys hanging out on our leather couches. =)

Have you heard?

Mr. James was cracking up yesterday when Uncle Michael decided to entertain him with his “Bird is the Word” song & dance. Yes, this song is a favorite in our house and if you’re a fan of Family Guy you’ll understand why: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1842929/family_guy_the_birds_the_word/

Oh boy- something to annoy Josie & Peter with! Hehehe!
Just wait until Uncle Michael buys James his first drum kit...

Pssst. Bwa bwa bwa bird, bird, bird, bird is the word!!

Sleeping through the night!

Pete and I thought it would never happen but it did! He finally slept through the night! Pete put him down at 7:20PM and he didn't wake up until 5:45AM. He cried a couple of times but nothing too crazy. Pete and I did a good job of not rushing into his room every time he made a peep...which is hard to do! He probably could have slept longer but I kept on feeling him to make sure he was breathing! I know all nights won't be like this but at least it's a start! I think there is more sleep in our future :)

I know Pete will whine like a little girl if I don't say this so... let this go on the record that I usually put James down for his bedtime but last night he did it for a change. Pete says he has the special touch....oh lord.

Stop staring at me…

and give me some food!
Hmmmm. I'm starting to wonder who is buying this kid all of this Yankee/Jets apparel…
Peter, I think we need to have a little chit chat.
Auntie Jeannetti knows better than to buy the kid MORE sports clothing. Uh huh. [Yup, I'm staring at him too...I just can't help myself.]

When you're a Jet you're a Jet all the way!

Move over Favre, there is a new QB in town. Weighing in at 20lbs (or more??) this kid is gonna knock your socks off. =)

Soooo, little *cough cough* James likes food. Nothing wrong with that! He is a happy little camper… BTW- he thoroughly enjoys dangling in a “responsible” adult’s arms while listening to the tunes of Abba. (This kid is going to kill me when he is older).

[Daddy & James]

Hey Batter Batter!

Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some milk and some baby food,
I don't care if I’m gonna get booed...
Let me root, root, root for the YANKEES,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you’re out,
At the old ball game!

Sir James & Mr. Teddy

Sir James at 4 weeks. He apparently likes his Teddy…

It all began June 11, 2008

Mr. James Peter Curtis came into this crazy world on June 11.

I remember getting the phone call at 4AM in the morning and crying my eyes out because I was stuck in Anaheim for a conference.

The little dude weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and measured 21 inches in length.

I will never forget the first day I met him…these are some pictures Michael took just a couple weeks after he was born.
